400 sq m of adaptive excellence
This 400-square-metre warehouse conversion exemplifies our studio’s ability to transform industrial spaces into refined, functional environments. From initial concept development through to final documentation, our team led every stage of the design process with precision and creativity.
The project involved a comprehensive reimagining of the building’s structure, including the design of the exterior façade, roofline, and mezzanine level—each element contributing to the architectural integrity and spatial flow of the outcome. These structural interventions were critical in balancing the building’s industrial heritage with contemporary usability.
Our in-depth understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) was instrumental in navigating compliance requirements. We ensured full adherence to DDA standards for accessible toilets, staircase geometry, and lift integration—delivering a design that is both inclusive and regulation-ready.
A complete documentation package was prepared to support the building permit process and guide construction, ensuring clarity and cohesion across all phases. Beyond the architectural scope, we worked closely with the client to curate every FF&E detail—from furniture and artwork to fabric selections and styling. This collaborative approach allowed us to shape a space that reflects the client’s vision while elevating the warehouse’s character.
This project stands as a testament to our holistic design methodology—where structural innovation, regulatory expertise, and aesthetic refinement converge to create spaces that are both functional and inspiring.
