401 Collins Street: Melbourne

Our studio was engaged to reimagine whole-floor tenancies within the iconic 401 Collins Street—a heritage-listed building in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. With its rooftop amenity, architectural character, and prime location, the project offered a rare opportunity to merge classic elegance with contemporary workplace design.

Guided by a design methodology rooted in spatial clarity, material integrity, and user experience, we delivered a design that respond to the needs of modern tenants. Each floor was approached as a complete ecosystem: reception lounges designed to welcome, meeting rooms crafted for collaboration, private offices for focused work, and breakout zones that foster connection and wellbeing.

We integrated sit-to-stand workstations, high-performance building services, and a palette of refined finishes to create environments that are both efficient and inspiring. The layouts were tailored to maximise natural light and circulation, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to future tenant requirements.
